Interpersonal communication has always been one of my biggest interests. Most of the jobs I’ve had put me front and center in a customer/client facing role because of this skill. I can make people feel at ease, get a laugh in, and get the job done. Meeting someone where they are at and coaching them through a difficult situation is one of my best skills.

I know what something should sound like when I see it and can match a sound to an action in a way that fits the mood. I can “Mickey Mouse” an cartoonish action, or fill a space without attention being drawn to it.

Sound has been my work and love for most of my life, but I moved to San Francisco 10 years ago to medically transition in a safe space. After getting settled into a new city and life, I have spent the last 5 years giving myself the midlife crisis we all deserve by mastering the art of ceramics as well as the art of teaching. I’m now 41 with an abundance of audio and life skills. I know what is important in life and I know how to GET THINGS DONE.
Sound Design Music & Effects
Sound Design is the perfect intersection between making music and making noise. There is a precision to finding the right sounds to match the picture that I love.
Below is a small selection of videos I was given permission to display in my portfolio.
I was Invited to create the sound for the Post Modern Group 2013 holiday card sent out to all the internal staff and clients worldwide.
This is a splash introduction to an in house sit-down interview with the company directors.
A client was in need of sound design for a logo splash to play before their content.
MUSIC EDITING
Editing music to fit picture-locked video is a special skill I bring to my work.
Three musical edits over the same Hyundai advertisement:
NIN Music Edit
Barry Adamson Music Edit
Zero 7 Music Edit
